Recent Changes: Your Views

Recently Ad-Deen has changed the layout of the main website in order to provide a better browsing experience: What do you think of it? Let us know your views.

as-Salaamu ‘alaikum wr wb to all readers, members and visitors of Ad-Deen,

Those who frequent this website may be aware of the new format of the main website, especially the home page, which was altered in order to provide a better Ad-Deen-browsing experience. We would like to know whether these changes are actually better or not. Additionally, Ad-Deen has introduced new features to the website and we would like to know your views about them.

So, what are these new changes?

Home page layout: Previously there was just a list of the new content of the website. Now we have a section at the top with the most important news or a very interesting article which may be relevant to you at a particular time, whilst the lower half of the website displays the list of recent additions to the website.
Rating ability: In order for us to be kept up to date with what readers want, there is a feature at the bottom of every entry with 5 stars which you can colour (e.g. completely orange to give it 5/5) which allows us to know what kind of things readers like to see.
Share this: You can now share any content with just a click on popular social networking websites such as yahoo.
Related material: If you found something interesting on the website and would like to read something similar, there will be a list of related content which you can also take a look at, displayed right under the post.
And last but not least, Ad-Deen Radio: This is something all of us were looking forward to. We once had a time when there would be sound breakages on online events because of the programme we were using, so we decided to take it to another level and get a radio for ourselves, which is sound-breakage free al-Hamdu Lillaah. As well as recorded shows, we will be playing live events which you can listen to from the comfort of your own homes (when the event is too far) so keep visiting to find out what is new.
